when it was 60 DEGREES

I feel bad posting this today but it’s the only thinking making me see the light at the end of the *March* tunnel. It’s so cold, slushy and gross outside but I guess we deserve it since we’ve had a pretty nice Winter. Just last week I shot this outfit by Madison Square park when it was beautiful out now we’re bracing for snowstorm Stella. Glad I shot that day because I have a feeling the next few weeks we will be in hibernation or at least all of my nice shoes will be.

It felt so nice to be able to wear some of my blouses without a million layers. I paired this silk black blouse with my favorite paige leather pants with the zippers. A silk blouse is a great way to dress up a look, I liked the juxtaposition of the silk against the leather. To break it all up, I styled my outfit with my Paige Denim silk scarf and created a belt with it. I thought it wound up looking cute and was a nice alternative to a belt!

This is just a glimpse of an April outfit, now back to regular programming with more and more sweaters + cozy boots. x

  1. Loving how you used a scarf as a belt <3 Definitely adds a nice touch to the whole ensemble and gives a focus to almost monochromatic look! And aww I'm sorry to hear about all of the bad weather that New York has been getting in the past few days 🙁 Hopefully, it clears up and gets warm again soon!

  2. I love this look! I’ve been looking for a slouchy pair of black boots for ages. Isabel Marant makes amazing slouchy boots, but I haven’t been able to find any that are the same look for less. I find that slouchy ankle boots always make my legs look skinner. Great outfit!

    1. Stay tuned for my clothing line launching with Nordstrom in September. I made the perfect slouchy boot and super affordable!!! x
