forget BRANDON, STUART keeps me warm

I can talk boots in every single blog post of mine but the truth of the matter is, as a New Yorker, it really is important to invest in a good pair of boots. Over the years I’ve accumulated a collection because from the months of October to April it’s pretty much all you wear. I love my Stuart Weitzman knee highs (as you all must know by now) but after nearly living in them, I figured it was time to explore other boot options. I knew I’d be happy picking a pair from their selection because I know the quality is amazing and I also know that their products are totally my style, but really, how can anyone go wrong with a shoe from Stuart Weitzman?

Now that the weather is starting to shift to pretty much below freezing, it calls for the boots that mean business. Enter – the Furnace boots. They are not only incredibly cute, but they are lined and keep your feet and ankles really warm. I chose the beige style because a lot of my wardrobe consists of tans, beiges and browns and you all know how much I love a monochrome look. They’re also really cute with a nude tight and a sweater dress but if you’re in New York like me – jeans or any kind of pant will do.

Enough speaking about the cold – I’m heading out of town to LA for the holidays starting tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited. The weather will be much more manageable and I’m excited to explore more of the city with Brandon and the family. Any suggestions?? xx

  1. Totally understand the accumulation of boots and booties when living in New York..I’m just starting to build up my “adult” shoe collection, since I’m a huge fan of sneakers these look like a great transition bootie.. heel height looks pretty comfortable and manageable for these NYC streets.

Suggestion for LA: not sure if you guys ever watched Entourage, if you did then definitely check out Fat Sal’s. It’s turtles restaurant/sandwich shop.. Annd if you haven’t heard of it then I’d check it out anyway… and watch the show haha

Also go for a hike too!! It’s soooo beautiful in LA

  2. First off, I love the title of this post, too cute 🙂 I couldn’t agree more, having lived my entire life in NY, it’s imperative to have great quality outerwear and the more, the better! That said, I love those boots! They’re so cute and like you’ve said, can be styled with so many looks; I love how you’ve styled them with the cream pieces, so comfy and chic. I hope you have a wonderful time in LA! Thanks so much for sharing, girlie!

  3. Hi Arielle,

I just got back from LA myself, so I wanted to share a few things with you. First of all pack warmly. Im from London and I didn’t realise how cold it gets there in the winter!! Its still a lot warmer than London but definitely took me by surprise and I ended up buying a few coats.
for food you must go to the following-

    Il Pastaio
    E Baldi
Madeo – by far the best
Catch LA is really pretty and fun to go for dinner
    BHH for brunch
Urth cafe on melrose is the best for breakfast
Alfred is the best place for coffee
Nobu Malibu is my favourite restaurant ever, the views are insane and the food is delicious
Soho house Malibu is stunning and Soho House in west hollywood for dinner is amazing.

check out the grove, go hiking up runyon canyon, griffith park at night, LACMA is great to visit and basically shopping! Shopping in Malibu is great too 😉

Enjoy 😉 I’m a total foodie so I think you will love those places!

    xx Happy New Year
