The most important meal of the day is also subject to a ton of debate within the Something Navy office. What is the best breakfast spot in NYC? We can’t pick just one! Here are our faves for all occasions:
If you’ve tuned into our Insta-stories, you’ve probably seen one of us eating a bagel from Tal’s. We’re obsessed. Arielle turned us on to the greatest bagel discovery in the city, specifically her order of a whole wheat everything bagel toasted and scooped out with cream cheese, plus a side of lox. Trust us, Tal’s is the best.
You can’t talk about good bagels in NYC and leave out the magic that is the bagel tower at Sadelle’s. The experience at Sadelle’s is the exact opposite of staying in and getting delivery from Tal’s and sometimes, that’s what the day calls for. Don’t worry, the bagels are just as good (but different!) and the setting is perma-chic.
Two hands is an adorable, tiny little spot we love for a healthy option bright and early. They’ve got avocado toast, grain bowls and other classic millennial breakfast staples we can’t live without.
Ask anyone who’s ever been hungover in NYC where they go to get immediately cured after a big night out and the answer is probably, most-likely, 100% Bubby’s. We go specifically for the pancakes. And the Bloody Mary’s. And everything else on the menu!
Daily Provisions is one of our favorite places to get fueled up when we’re pressed for time. It’s near our office, which always helps, but so does their pastry assortment and great coffee.
What are we missing? Let us know your favorite breakfast spots in NYC!
