MY favorite FLATS

As a new mom, (even though I’ll never ever give up on my heels because to me they are life), I really had to start investing more in flats. Don’t get me wrong, when it comes to shoes, I’m happy to invest (flats or heels) but it definitely changed the way I get dressed in the mornings. A flat makes me feel like I can accomplish a lot more in a day as crazy as that sounds! When I have a ton of meetings and errands to run I love to throw on my oxford Givenchy flats. A lot of the time, people ask me where I get my inspiration – the funny thing is, I get most of my inspiration from girls in New York City. I will see someone on the street in a cool outfit or color and get inspired. This look came from a girl I saw at a restaurant on date night with her husband/boyfriend. She was wearing a really cute oversized sweater, skinny jeans and before looking down I assumed she’d be wearing heels but instead I saw really chic oxfords. I loved how casual but still dressed up she looked. That’s when my hunt for an oxford began!

This coat was a summer time purchase – I saw it and knew I’d live in it all through Fall. I love the colors and the oversized coziness of it. I’ve been pairing it with black skinny jeans and for this look I added my favorite Givenchy oxfords. It’s also big enough to hide Ruby under when it’s super windy outside (the things I look for in a coat these days).

  1. Love the flats! I have a pair of menswear inspired shoes from last year that are versatile enough to go from office to a night out! Love the look!

  2. Hey there. Don’t take this the wrong way, but it’s super cheese and classless to open your dorky freebies you shill on videos like that. First of all, brands send crap to every blogger. It’s not special, and for two, what a waste of product. You’re like a Mary Kay saleswoman, babe. It’s not cool. You bloggers are all the same — the laughing stock of the biz because of this crap. Sorry.
