These jeans bring me back to 2009 when I first started blogging. I was a little more adventurous when it came to styling my outfits. I loved prints, bright colors and very unpredictable pairings. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become a little more clean with my style, polished and refined. I always kept that pop of femininity and edge though. This is my version of popping in some edge. I recently invested in a pair of leopard ripped up jeans. I figured I can simplify it down with a black sweater and boots. I was nervous before shooting this today because I didn’t know how it would look on camera but I think it turned out great! If you’re not into prints or color, it’s always great to incorporate in small ways like a shoe or a bag, I took a little bit of a jump with a pant but I’m proud!

I’m currently working on a look back of my year in outfits for the blog but it’s definitely taking longer than I hoped. Once Ruby is asleep tonight I will get to work on completing it and hopefully it’ll go live later this evening. Stay tuned!

  1. I always love your Christian Louboutin booties! I’m thinking about buying the So Kate bootie in black suede. A little different than the ones you’re wearing with this look, but have you had a good experience with yours? Or too tough to walk in?

Thanks so much for your time and help! Always love your looks!

    1. I stopped buying all Louboutin shoes that were over 100mm. I can only wear them if they are 100mm, those are the most comfortable. I think So Kate’s are all 120 and I can tell you now, they’re impossible to walk in! Pigalles are a great alternative xo

  2. Hi Arielle.

I hope this doesn’t come off as offensive. I love your looks, but i’ve been wondering if you actually do invest your own money in a pair of leopard jeans like those or the chloé shearling jacket, or it’s given to you (or given at a lover price) ?
Just because i’m always trying to reason an expensive jacket or bag myself, but of course i know you don’t have the same budget. But if you do, i really love the idea of not always buying something safe.

I so admire how you’re able to style your outfits, and i think you have such a great eye for details. I’m never bored.

    Thanks for a great blog!

Uh, and the sunnies you’re wearing – are those the black ones? From Bottega right?
