How To Skimm Your Life

My followers know that I had so much fun being a guest on Skimm’d From The Couch, the Skimm’s podcast.

Their newsletter has been a daily staple in my inbox for as long as I can remember, so it comes as no surprise that my friend’s Danielle and Carly are now authors! Their new book, How To Skimm Your Life, is a must on your summer reading list.

How to Skimm Your Life is all about exposing some of the less glamorous parts of adulthood that we go through and giving advice on how to successfully navigate our busy, overcommitted millennial lives. They cover everything from stress management to global politics, making it a go-to guide for me and my team. Also, the book is written in the Skimm’s infamous easily digestible tone, always keeping things light yet informative, so it’s basically everything you want in a new read. Not to mention, I am excited to share that I am quoted in it!

Even though I’m in the Hamptons, I’m still working and trying to do it all with my team back in the city. TheSkimm has been here for me and like they say, How to Skimm Your Life “is all about making your time well spent. Most people and self-help books will tell you to carpe diem and make the most of your hours. We will tell you actual ways to squeeze in all the things you have to do.” Of course, you have to pre-order the book to find out their techniques, but trust me, it’s well worth it!

They also go over the essentials, like which foods go with what wines as well as practical de-stressing advice we need from time to time.

The Skimm has helped many of us stay informed and engaged with global news, and their new book serves a similar value-add purpose. To help us connect with the narrative even more, theSkimm co-founders and co-CEOs, Carly Zakin and Danielle Weisberg, are heading out on a national book tour. Be sure to see them when they’re in your town, information available here.

Pre-order now and get the book when it’s released on June 11th. And as for my quote in the book, you’ll have to read for yourself to find out what I say!
