I’ve seen this trend around recently and not even just for me but for Ruby. I don’t know the exact term for it but I’m just going to call it a Jumper Dress. I found this one from For Love and Lemons and since I normally LOVE the way their stuff fits me, I figured this would be a safe purchase.

At first I was pairing it with a great turtleneck but for some reason it wasn’t exciting me. I decided to go all black including my tights and boots and I thought it was the perfect outfit for a night out in the Winter. The turtleneck is actually a bodysuit from Wolford. Their body suits are so good but definitely very expensive. I found some other options that are super similar at American Apparel. I found a ribbed one that I’m obsessed with and also t-shirt versions. I’ve definitely started a collection of bodysuits over the past few months.

As far as tights go, I really hate the opaque kind – I love when they’re black and see through/sheer. When you wear an opaque tight it just flattens out that look, an outfit needs mixed textures and since my dress is a thick black wool – I knew a sheer tight would look perfect with it.
