trading my HEELS for FLATS

Last day of NYFW and it’s been so much fun, but exhausting! I’m so happy to change into sweatpants and just be with Ruby since I’ve been up and about nonstop. If you followed me during my fashion week experience on Instagram (video coming tomorrow for even more from my week!), you got to see some of the most incredible outfits I was so lucky to wear from the designers whose shows I attended. What you didn’t see was what happens in the car when I do outfit changes, all of us stuffing our faces with pizza for a quick bite, and what I REALLY wore during our breaks in between shows.

My poor feet went through a lot and I needed something easy to slip-on but also keep my feet warm to brave the cold NYC weather! I’ve always been a big fan of G.H. Bass & Co.’s Weejuns since they’re classic and timeless – I wanted to try something  different than their signature loafers I already own and recently got these flats. The Harlow D’Orsay flats saved me in between shows and I loved how chic the grey fabric with the tassel detailing. I discovered G.H. Bass & Co. last year right after pregnancy when I was on the hunt for great flats, I’m so happy I get to work with them now because they have truly saved me on lots of my shoot days or days where I’m going from meeting to meeting.

  1. Is there a lot of support and cushion in their shoes? Been having back problems and need some new comfortable shoes. Flats are better than heels for sure, but do these ACTUALLY have enough support cushion? Their shelby sneakers look super cute too, but i can’t tell from the pics if there is enough support. Thx!!

  2. Can you pleaseeeee tell me the designer of those jeans? They’re exactly what I’ve been looking for for so long! I love the raw hem in the bottom, and that they aren’t ripped any other places (like on the knees, which is all I can find)
    Thanks in advance ❤
