6 Ways To Make Your Sleep Better

Is there anything better than waking up after a good night’s rest? We think not!

But of course, these ideal nights are few and far between thanks to our hectic schedules, too much screen time and all the shows we have to binge

These days, we’ll do anything for a full night of sleep, so we’ve compiled our best tips to get the job done.

Wind Down Earlier

It goes without saying that gearing up for bed earlier each night will help you get more zzzs, but we know how hard it is to make this plan a reality! Prioritize your commitment to an earlier night in and jumpstart your ideal sleep schedule ASAP.

Hydrate!
Staying hydrated throughout the day is important for your overall health and it also impacts your sleep at night. If you do your part during the day, you won’t wake up in the middle of the night reaching for that water bottle.

Make Your Bedroom Your Temple

Loving your sleep space is key to feeling relaxed as you get into bed. Realistically, we can’t live without crisp linens, like these from Parachute Home. And remember that little touches go a long way, so making apartment updates as needed is always a good idea.

Cut Off Caffeine

At a certain point, having that last cup of coffee or tea will mess up your sleep for the night. Everybody is different, so figuring out when your caffeine cutoff time is totally depends on your body and tolerance.

Limit Screen Time

Of course, this is another one that is easier said than done! Doctors and sleep specialists all agree that trying to put your phone away for the night before you get into bed will help you fall asleep faster.

Your Bed Is For Sleeping

Using your bed for what it’s intended for (aka sleeping, NOT working from home) is a little known trick that does wonders for your sleep schedule. By doing so, you can train your body into thinking that it’s sleep mode the second you crawl under the sheets.

Check out some of our favorites below that all help us get a good night’s sleep!
